I would STRONGLY ADVISE against making a wiki because i'm certain that such an enterprise would be redundant with existing documentation on the matter of greater apiospace that i'm sure i would be able to find if it weren't for me getting forcibly barred from percepting the archives of those messages which have been sent along to travel and percolate amongst a certain digital grapevice. (Although that you might walk the path of seeking to come to your own judgement from the facts, i wish to make clear that in my current state of existence i posess a copy of the viewpoint that wikis are conceptually flawed as a method of documentating anything, always failing in comparison to versioned and deliberated reference manuals.)
The ‘clickable banners’ of which you speak are either webring links or, more likely, they are JOHNVERTISEMENTS. Incomprehensive, but _certainly_ not incomprehensible, documentation on the matter is by one able to be found at <https://john.citrons.xyz/>. It includes information on making your own. Importantly, the principle of JOHNVERTISEMENT is that it is a satirization of real advertising, something which is never documented on the site despite previous insinuations of which i have no evidence were made.
Nobody else knows how the soul well works. I suspect that even heav themself doesn't know, as, and i say this as a programmer myself, programmers have a tendency to forget how their code works. (The fact that it's apparently written in Lua does not exempt it from this principle. (That was a cheap shot.)) The colors thing is tied to an inferrable metric of ‘soul quality’, of which even less is known. Further experimentation is necessary.
